Volume XIil, Number 13 Dec. 19, 1990 CAPILANO COLLEGE'S INTERNAL NEWSLETTER Celebrating 20 Years 1968 - 1988 Student Sculptors From Capilano College and Langara Explore “Sahara” On Thursday, Dec. 20 students from Capilano College and Langara College will have a joint open house for the purpose of meeting, sharing and displaying innovations in sculpture. The 25 student sculptors have been working with a new synthetic foam medium called “Sahara” and new techniques. They are the first in Vancouver to complete the “Sculpt 2000 Workshop”, a new program offered by the Extension departments of both colleges. ; A display of works by both contemporary masters and the student sculptors will be set up in A117 from 4:30 - 8 p.m. Everyone is welcome.
