There's one person around college that you probably know to see, even Tf you don't know him by name. That individual is Raul Suarez, the crossing guard at Lillooet Rd. and Purcell Way. Thanks to his signs and friendliness, Raul has become something of a local landmark, but that, unfortunately, has come to an end. If you missed Raul wheh you drove by, it's because he's left to take a job at the Courthouse Complex -~ formerly the Capilano Winter Club--working at the Squash and Handball desk. It wasn't an easy decision to make. Raul really en- joyed his morning and afternoon beat and felt very torn when he had to make up his mind, but the job won out. So, it's good- bye and good luck to the one person on the Lower Mainland who probably gets waved at more often than an engineer on the Royal Hudson. And the kids who were ex- changing Valentines with him. on Thursday will reaily miss him too.
