Bob Rennie, left, had one of his latest works unveiled by Mrs. Ella Parkinson and Mr. Jack McCormack of the North Vancouver Communi ty Arts Council. We all know Bob Rennie as an excellent Mathematics instructor (he has his doctoral degree in that arcane discipline) but what many people don't know is that Bob's hobby is painting and he has won awards in the juried shows of the Federation of Canadian Artists. The Natural Sciences Division commissioned him to do a painting to enhance the main office area of the Natural Sciences Div. and reports are that everyone in the cont. p. 3 informer WORK A DAY FOR UNITED WAY Your Day Pay Goes A Long, Long Way! Dept. receives donation A new painting is also gracing the walls of the Art Department office these days. Daphne Triggs, a 1983 graduate of the Studio Art program surprised and delighted the department by donating one of her works to the department. Triggs held a private showing several months ago dedicated to Capilano College and then presented her painting to the College Board meeting on September 20.
