Student Society is not snoring. In fact,

they have a lot of events lined up for the
next week. On Tuesday, the Mountain Dance
Theatre, a modern dance group, will be
performing in the South Cafe from noon to
1:00. Wednesday it's an old favourite: The
Hunchback of Notre Dame with Lon Chaney, a
1923 classic, at 7:30 in the Lounge. Then,
Thursday, from 4:30 to 8:00, Blues singer
Jim Byrnes will be entertaining everyone
at the Beer Garden
at 7:30 the Marx Brothers will be found in
the Lounge in "'A Day at the Races." Let it

never be said that there. are never any
student activities at this College..

The Labour Studies Program is considering
the purchase of a 16mm film about the
1930's Depression in B.C. The reason that
they are considering buying is that it is
$390 and they only have $120.40 in their
budget. They are therefore looking eagerly
for contributions from other interested
departments. Produced by none other than
Colleen Bostwick of Cap., the 26 min. film
includes rare colour film of relief camps
in '37 and film of "Bloody Sunday'' in Van.
