LABOUR STUDIES PROGRAMME 10th Anniversary 1975-1985 A SPECIAL NOTE: Ten years have gone by since the Labour Studies Programme at Capilano College offered its' first course. Over those years the User's Advisory Committee, Instructors and Staff have tried to determine a good balance between "skills" and information courses: between a core programme and new offerings. As participants of the Programme your advice has been and remains important in making these decisions. Please continue to let us know the courses you would like to see offered. We hope that you continue to find the Labour Studies Programme a useful and effective way to increase your skills, knowledge and effectiveness as a union activist. We look forward to the next ten years with enthusiasm as the Programme continues to make its' contribution to the labour movement. IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Courses with the designation LSP carry College Credit and partici pants awarded credit receive a credit certificate. - Courses with the designation LSTL/LSTP receive a Course Com pletion certificate. Fees are payable at time of registration. Unions may make ar rangements in writing to the LSP office if they wish to be invoiced when their members attend classes. - Advance registrations are encouraged; however, if space permits, you may register at the first meeting of the class. SOME ADDITIONAL SERVICES: - Unions who wish to develop their own instructors can receive assistance from us in course and instructor development. - An excellent source of materials on occupational health and safety is published by the Programme in co-operation with the Vancouver Committee on Occupational Health and Safety.
