This is an original play based on recollections of Gulf Islands pioneers and written co- operatively by the class of 1985 and theatre instructor Bill Murdoch. The play is a series of sketches featuring turn-of-the-century eccentrics who were interviewed in the late 60s by CBC radio. Parasols and Gumboots runs March 17-19 and 23-26 at 8 p.m. in the Studio Theatre, R Building, room 105. Tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students and seniors. For reservations call 985-3758.
