And here they are: Howe Sound - Jim McDonald; North Vancouver- Frank Warburton (new) and Verna Smelovsky; Sunshine Coast- Brian Hodgins (he was a mere Observer last year); West Vancouver- Carl Hunter and tan Edgar; and Big Brother- Hilda Rizen, Lalit Srivastava, Dr. Eric Patkau (new) and Dr. Norris Martin (also new). The Anthropology de- partment is, and for those who share that interest they have arranged a series of 3 events for next week. Tuesday evening stu- dents from Cap will meet in the Great Hall of the Museum of Anthropology at UBC for a lecture on North-West coast art symbolism. Wednesday at 11:00 there will be a lecture with slides in NC 106 by SFU archaeologist Dr. Phil Habler on new directions jin ar- chaeological interpretation. And finally, Wednesday evening, John Sparrow, from the "Indian Voice'' will be speaking and show- ing the film "Potlatch: A Strict Law Bids Us Dance''.
