In New Orchestra Workshop's 2nd Large Ensemble Intensive (over
the course of four consecutive Sundays) participants will workshop
four compositions from the NOW Orchestra's extensive repertoire.
We will focus on exploring various aspects of improvising, using
works that utilize graphic and conventional notation and group
improvisation using cells, melodic, rhythmic and harmonic
thematic materials. The participants will perform the compositions
in a public performance.
