This year we are proud to feature two outstanding Quebecois artists, guitarist/composer Rene Lussier and p ercussionistlcomposer Pierre Tanguay, in residence with the NOW Orchestra in workshop and performance situations. Lussier and Tanguay will collaborate with Vancouver's 13-piece NOW Orchestra in the development of musique actuelle compositions for orchestra. Collaborations with Britain's Barry Guy, and Switzerland's Koch, Schlitz and Studer have put them at the forefront of Canada's creative music scene. They'll travel in May to perform a1 the Festival de Musiqe Actuelle in Victoriaville, Quebec with Lusser and Tanguay.
