Tops across the country

Five Capilano College students became part of an elite
group of 250 top Canadian scholars earlier this month. Canada
Scholarships are awarded each year by the federal government
to encourage promising young students to go into sciences and
engineering. Future physicists, astronomers, and engineers, Ali
Dhanani, Wesley Macaulay, Diane Reitzner, Michelle Van
Rikxoort, and Marko Vesely, were given $2,000 cheques and
certificates at a luncheon last month.

The award can be renewed for up to four years.
