sxe Informer Staff Career Development Lynne Hamilton, Chair 1994 Staff Career Development Conference The Fourth Annual Staff Career Development Conference took place at the Pacific Marine Training Institute on February 24 - 25. The conference was a great success, offering sessions in self and group empowerment, enhancement of thinking and management skills, expanding creative abilities and self-renewal, as well as a preview of what lies ahead in the rapidly changing world of work and technology. A total of $50 was collected at the conference and presented to the Food Bank on behalf of staff. Congratulations to Wendy Weberg, winner of the Anne Syroishko watercolour print, “Lions Gate Bridge”. Thank you Anne for your donation. Additional thanks to those who provided feedback on the sessions and the event overall.
