Review gets new Editor The new editor of the Capilano Review is Dorothy Jantzen. Jantzen, who has her BA from UBC and MA from York University, is replacing Ann Rosenberg in this position. Art lectures The Art department has two lectures of particular interest upcoming. On March 25 from 10:30 am to 12:00 an Andean weaver from Peru will be speaking in room A206. The workshop charge for this is $3. On April 2 at 1 pm in the same room Dorinda Neave will lecture on ''Tapestries through the Ages''—there is no charge. Movies are shown Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 6 pm in the east wing of the North Cafeteria. Eastcott to hold one man show Wayne Eastcott will be staging his first one-man showing in close to a‘ decade in Vancouver at the end of this month. From March 31 to April 27 his etchings, lithographs and silkscreens will be on display at the Crown Gallery, 560 Beatty Street. According to the Gallery's press release, ''The spacious gallery overlooks Vancouver's Expo 86 site—a fact that did not go by unnoticed by the Artist, since many of his current works reflect the fair's 'man in motion' theme.''Eastcott has had great success with his work in Japan, and after this show he will be taking his prints on tour. Musical notes Gary Le Tourneau, a 1980 graduate of the Bachelor of Music program has been chosen as Musical Director of Metro Theatre's "Paint Your Wagon''. The show opens April 12. Meanwhile, Bachelor of Music faculty member Blaine Dunaway is the Musical Director of the North Shore Light Opera Society's 'Desert Song'' which is currently on stage at the Centennial Theatre. Tea Talks continue The Retail Management Department holds "Tea Talks from the Trade'' on Tuesdays at noon in room A215, and they do indeed provide tea. Upcoming speakers are: March 12: Bob Crockett, Marketing Manager of Nabob Foods (this session starts at 1 pm); March 19: Pauline Sang, General Manager of Fashion Network; and March 26: Jean McElvie, fashion coordinator and magazine editor. Faculty member performs Fred Stride, the Music Department's new Stage Band Director, is putting on a concert at the Hot Jazz Club, 2120 Main St., on March 21. Stride has an excellent reputation around twon, and our source in the Music dept. says the concert should be great. Tickets are $2 for Hot Jazz Society member; $3 for non members, and show time is 9 pm.
