nena the Volume Vill No. 1 January 13, 1986 informer. Media Center staff play Santa Claus to local family FEELING LIKE SANTA, Dawn Hughes from the Library cuddles one of the heap of toys and presents that the Media Centre staff collected during December for a needy family. Health Services assigned them a family and the staff got together to make sure that their Christmas was indeed merry. Dawn says: "I feel the Library staff did a tremendous job and I would like to see other departments doing the game for 1986. The family was most appreciative and it warmed my heart to see the joy it brought to the mother's face." Smith wins Informer contest Well, the Informer's Christmas photo contest may have provoked lots of speculation on campus about the identities of the children in the pictures, but that speculation did not make itself felt in the form of contest entries. Incidentally, we have several photos left over from this year's contest and will be printing them at some time in the future. We hope for a better response next time! Also, would those who donated their photos please collect them from Information Services before they get misplaced. Special thanks to Karen Lind, Riley O'Connor, Marie Jessup and Pat Babiuk who volunteered embarassing photos, and Bill Little, who did not.
