His most recent work (published in J. Theoretical Biology) is titled “Energetics of piscivorous predator- prey interactions”. During her six months sabbatical from Australia’s Sydney University of Technology, Dr. Bonnie MacDonald, a lecturer in microbiology, is visiting our Biology department on a regular basis. Dr. Malcolm Fitz-Earle (Coordinator of Biology) has just published the fourth in a series of publications that have come out of the research he did at Kyushu University in Japan while on paid educational leave from the College in 1984-5. This most recent paper, published in Ecological Modelling, is concerned with optimal sex ratios in insect mass-rearing facilities.
