Media program delivers another winner edia program student, Andrew edley, placed fourth in this year’s Photographer’s Forum student photography contest. His black and white photo, shot for his first term photo display, will appear in the May issue of Photographer’s Forum magazine. Each year, the Photographer’s Forum student photography contest receives more than 20,000 submissions from across North America. Judges include distinguished photographers and photo instructors from such schools as The Brooks Institute of Photography and the Art Center College of Design. Sponsorship is provided by Photographer’s Forum magazine and Nikon. Contest finalists have their images published in the Best of College Photography Annual. Winning images (first through fourth place) are published in the May issue of Photographer’s Forum magazine. In addition to publication, winners also receive cash and products. In the previous two years, the Media program has had three students selected as finalists. Congratulations, Andrew! Correction In last month’s issue of the /nformer, the Media program’s most recent outstanding graduating student, Karsten Koch, was incorrectly identified. The production tells the story of a group of Inuit children on their first trip to Vancouver. It captured third prize in the Canadian Student Film Festival and was awarded second prize at the Cascadia Festival of Moving Images (B.C.’s student film festival). @nformer
