Thursday October 3
The Writing Centre will hold a student session in
P102 from 12:30 to 1:30. The topic is Building Your
Vocabulary. The instructor is Graham Forst.

Friday, October 4

Capilano College verses BCIT in the second annual
Presidents’ Cup. This exciting competition will be held
at 7:30 p.m. in Swangard Stadium. Proceeds go to the
United Way. Tickets, available at the College, are $2.

Friday, October 4
Historian and journalist Gwynne Dyer will partici-
pate in a discussion on world peace and security from
2:30 - 3:30 p.m. in Room H-402. He lectures on “After
the Wars” at 7 p.m. in the Sportsplex. Tickets for the
lecture are $10 in advance or $12 at the door. The
