Excerpt from a letter by an appreciative former Academic Studies student: Dear Dr. Gelin: Iam uriting to thank you for the letter that you sent in June advising me that I had been placed on the Dean’s list. You don’t know how good this made me feel! I recently applied to Simon Fraser University for admission to their progressive and “elite” School for the Engineering Sciences. There were over 2,000 applications for the 55 spots available, and I was ecstatic to learn that I was one of the 55 applicants chosen. The quality of instruction and the “extra mile” involvement that my instructors at Capilano gave me excited my mind and challenged me to achieve the highest level of excellence that Iam capable of and then some! Thank you and these instructors for giving me the support and confidence to feel good about my future opportunities. Sincerely, a firm believer in the Capilano College Education system, Andrew J.
