Sunday, April 12 The Capilano College Community Choir and Capilano College Singers will perform Brahms: A German Requiem at the Centennial Theatre, 2:30 p.m. Lars Kaario, conductor; Ingrid Suderman, soprano; Bruce Pullan, baritone; Gaye Alcock and Mary McKinney, transcription by Brahms for piano four hands. The Capilano Children’s Choir will perform a short program with pianist Margaret Hill. Tickets $8 general, $5 students, seniors and children. Thursday, April 16 The new Bachelor of Jazz Studies program celebrates the completion of its first year with the first annual Capilano College Jazz Festival, 8 p.m. at the Centennial Theatre, 2300 Lonsdale Ave. The concert will be hosted by musician/actor Miles Ramsay and features guest artists Skywalk. The Cap College Jazz Orchestra, the Nite Cap Vocal Jazz Ensemble, and other soloists and ensembles will perform.
