Volume VIIl No. 9 March 19, 1986 Charlottes ’ featured on 27th This beautiful weather- beaten totem pole stands somewhere on the Queen Charlotte Islands, and its photo was taken by Dr. Keith Wade, who will be giving a slide show and lecture about the Queen Charlottes at 7:45 on Thursday, March 27 at West Vancouver Secondary. The lecture is sponsored by Natural Sciences and is part of a series dedicated to raising funds for scholarships for outstanding science students. On April 10 Dr. Malcolm Fitz-Earle will be giving a talk at the same time and place on his impressions of Japan. Tickets are $3.50 in advance, $4 at the door and $10 per family.
