Fashion Sketching & Design ••••••

Many people have wonderful fashion ideas but
find it difficult to express them on paper.
This course is intended to help such people
develop the skills of creating and communicating design ideas.
It is an a-session course.
Students will be made aware of the influ­
ences that affect fashion, the sources of
inspiration from which designs are deve­
loped and how to adapt the designs to
the need of the market place.
At the end of the sessions the student
will have acquired some basic fashion
drawing techniques. You will be able

Eva Hall is a graduate of St Martin's
School of Art and of Goldsmith's College,
University of London, England, where she
majored in Fashion and Design. She has
travelled extensively and is up to date on
all the newest fashion techniques. She
has been an instructor at Capilano College
for the past eight years in the Retail
Management Department.
