Submitted by Carol McQuarrie Testing tip - Increase math Scores The math test, also known as the numeracy test, is used to assess a person’s ability to perform numerical computations rapidly and accurately. The test is six minutes long and requires candidates to solve a series of questions manually; calculators are not allowed. To increase a score on this test is just a matter of practice! Have a friend put together a list of equations for a self test. Do a six-minute exam and see how many equations can be solved within that time limit. Equations should include addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. United Way campaign The Human Resources department will be participating in this year’s United Way fund raising campaign with a candy jar guess. Stop by and take a $1 guess at how many candies are in the decorative Christmas jar and possibly walk away a winner! Guessing begins on November 12 and ends November 30. Employee orientation New staff orientation was held on November 5. Thanks to all of the new employees for their participation and great questions.
