He is Artistic Director of EDAM Dance in Vancouver. He has been creating choreographies and improvising perfonnances for over 25 years. Beyond his own Company creations, he has worked with John Alleyne at Ballet BC, Crystal Pite, Steve Paxton, Chris Aiken, Ray Chung, Andrew Harwood, Marc Boivin, Nancy Stark Smith, Lisa Nelson and Wen Wei Wang. RayC:lnmg is a San Francisco based perfonner, teacher, researcher and engineer. He has practiced, taught and perfonned Contact and improvisation since 1979 throughout the United States and Europe. Chung uses Contact as part of an improvisational perfonnance practice, integrating it with other movement fonns including martial arts, bodywork and Authentic Movement. Chung has collaborated with many key figures of the Contact world, including Steve Paxton, Nancy Stark Smith, Chris Aiken, Lisa Nelson and Peter Bingham. He is the founder and leader of the renowned NOW Orchestra. He has toured Canada, the USA and Europe, performing in major festivals in Berlin, Lisbon and Chicago. His collaborations include work with George Lewis, Wadada Leo Smith, Roscoe Mitchell, Butch Monis and most recently with Marilyn Crispell. Lighting Jason Dubois has recently relocated to Vancouver to work as Technical Director for the ScotiaBank Dance Centre, Jason is grateful for the opportunity to work with Peter Bingham and EDAM. For the past twelve years, Jason has been involved with various dance and theatre organizations through0t~twestern Canada. His credits range from administrator to designer and include work with Curtain Razors, New Dance Horizons, Kidd Pivot, Joe Ink and the Canadian College of Perfonning Arts.
