Services and the Media Resources Program is producing a television series on the successful graduates of Capilano College. The series is titled College Yearbook. The host is the popular radio personality Peter Thompson. The 15-minute shows are shot live to tape in the TV studio. Each show focuses on a graduate from a Career program or from the Academic Division. Although the College has only been graduating students for a little over 20 years, there are an amazing number of fascinating and highly successful graduates out there. An employee who ceases to be employed by the College before completion of a course may be required to pay the tuition fees for the course. The College wants to remind all faculty, staff and students to keep their valuables safe—that means not in plain sight in their car. The Lower Mainland police will promote this message on radio and TV during October and November.
