Going to the Dogs ... We aren't sure that we should be admitting this, but the two gents in the ears are instructors in our Commercial Music program—specifically Tom Hazlitt and Rene Worst, who will be playing at the Lankmark Jazz Bar Oct. 31 to Nov. 1 in ''The Doghouse Convention''. If you want to go in a doggie costume, you can get in for half price on Halloween. Graham Boyle will be on doggie vibes, John Sereda on doggie keyboards, and Dr. Jim will provide veterinarian services and drum accompaniment. Although Hazlitt and Worst are from Cap, Carol McQuarrie was heard to mutter ''The real dog has more sense—he works elsewhere.'"! Marble sculpture completed David Marshall's sculpture is finished. The piece, which was carved from 11 tons of marble, is sitting in the grounds of Klee Wyck, where Dave worked on It. And West Vancouver mayor Derek Humphries even cut a ribbon to celebrate the completion of this sculpture, which took a year of work. The marble was quarried near Nootka Sound on the west coast of Vancouver Island, and the sculpture is shaped to harmonize with the patterns and colour of the block. Klee Wyck, by the way, is at 200 Keith Road in West Vancouver (access from Taylor Way.)
