One Blooming Thing after Another

Our gardens have been getting a lot of attention lately
with two tours held over the past month. The first for the
community at the end of April attracted young Keegan
Varney (grandson of Pauline Clark) who decided to check
on the number of stamens in the rhodo himself.

Two weeks later, employees were given the same
opportunity and learned a little more about their
surroundings thanks to informed commentary by Les
Koskitalo (Landscape Horticulture), Brian White (Outdoor
Recreation), and Alan Hurlburt, gardener.
