Such issues come up when counsellors meet with individual students. The workshops are helpful because many students benefit from sharing their concerns in a group atmosphere. Also, the workshops allow counsellors to devote more time to each student and to special projects. The workshops are available free of charge to all registered students. To encourage attendance, the Counselling Department’s new workshop brochure will be posted in buildings throughout campus and will be presented to instructors in upcoming meetings. Further information is also available from advising reception in M Building. The department would like instructors to help generate awareness by mentioning the workshops to their students in class. Another set of workshops will be scheduled for the spring semester. Healthstyles Health Services is open and available for help with any of your health inquiries or problems.
