Feb. 21/94 Resource Development News Asian Studies Gets Boost James Cameron, Chairman of the West Vancouver Foundation and former board member of the Vancou- ver Foundation, has presented Capilano College with a cheque for $3,000. The donation will be used to enhance the library endowment for the Asia Pacific Management Co-op Program collection. On hand Jan. 21 to accept the West Vancouver Founda- tion’s donation were Dr. Jon Jessiman, Dean of Student and Instructional Services and Barbara Hankin, Coordi- nator of the Program. Students are dependent upon library resources to keep up with developments in their fields of study. Individuals and organizations have recognized the importance of this and continue to support the Library Endowment Fund to ensure journal subscriptions and collections remain up-to-date. The continued support of the endowment by individuals and organizations demonstrates our community’s support for Capilano College’s mission to be “the College of first choice.” And speaking of keeping up-to-date...
