Where are you, Louise? This beautiful ceramic plaque which is hanging in the Women's Access Centre was presented to WAC by an Art student named Louise, and the WAC staff have been wanting to talk to her, but haven't got her last name or phone number. It all began last term when WAC circulated a memo stating that they would be happy to fund projects for women art students, or hang work for sale or display in the centre. There was little response until the end of the term when Louise walked into the Centre with this wonderful piece of work, and then disappeared without explaining whether she wanted it back or who she was. WAC is grateful but mystified and, says Crystal Saunders, ''We really want to thank her.'' So, Louise, wherever you are, give them a ring or drop by—and we would also recommend that latter procedure to everyone else since it's a piece of work that the Informer's muddy black and white reproductive capacities cannot do justice to. Doc’s departure imminent Have you been meaning to call or drop into Health Services to see the Doctor about a health problem? Then, don't delay—Dr. Jensen's last day on campus this term will be Wednesday, April 10. Health services will remain open until the end of May, and Dr. Jensen will be returning for the fall semester. Cap Ads contest Friday Friday, March 29 is the big day for the graduating Marketing Mgmt. students — the annual Cap Ads competition that teams of students have been preparing for for weeks now. Four groups of students (including those in the first year Marketing class) will be presenting advertising campaigns on behalf of the International Plaza Hotel, Richmond Honda, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and Cypress Bowl, and the campaign which is judged best by a team of business and advertising judges will go on to competitions with other colleges. The judges this year will be Barrie Radcliffe of J. Walter Thompson, Bill Irwin of CFUN, Nick Boyd of Baker Lovick, Marg Van Vielenjin of Pro Consulting, Bernard Brown from McKim Advertising, and John Leonard of Walker, Leonard Advertising. The presentations will be made from 1 to 5 pm in the All College Lounge. There is limited space for onlookers—if you are interested in attending you should contact the Business Management Department at loc. 425 and ask them if they can fit you in.
