Sunday, March 31 Capilano College Community Choir and Capilano College Singers, along with members of the CBC and Vancouver Opera Orchestras, will perform Vivaldi’s “Gloria” with Lars Kaario conducting, at 3 p.m. at the Centennial Theatrein North Vancouver. Cecilia Ensemble, the College’s women’s choir, will also perform an all- Canadian program featuring a commissioned work by Sherilyn Fritz. Wednesday, April 3 The public is invited to attend an Information Forum on the Burrard Band Treaty Process, 5:30 to 9 p.m., in the Cedar building, room 148. Thursday, May 23 Everyone is welcome to attend the Spring Graduation Ceremonies in the Sportsplex at 7:30 p.m.. Treaty Negotiations Open to the Public apilano College was the site for the Burrard Band treaty negotiations held on Wednesday, March 6 in the Library building. The College will also be hosting an Information Forum for the general public on the treaty process to be held on April 3 in the Cedar building, room 148, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. Similar forums have been held in Colleges across B.C. The negotiators and representatives from all of the parties will be there to give a presentation and answer questions from the audience. Bob Muckle, a Capilano College Anthropology instructor, will be moderating the discussion. This forum is being organized by Nancy Nowlan, a faculty member in Contract Services and Extension Programs, under a federal Community Outreach Partnership (COPS) grant.
