College athletes awarded at banquet

everal athletes were honored at the Capilano College 1998 athletic awards banquet at Cheers Restaurant on Thursday,
April 9. The event’s keynote speaker was Janice Bremner, an Olympic silver medalist in synchronized swimming in
1996. Recently retired from competition, Janice is currently pursuing Human Kinetics at UBC.

Colin Clay, with the Scholar Athlete of the Year Award presented with the Scholar Athlete of the Year Award.
