N CAFE CROWDING Lunching on your feet? If you've been finding yourself wedged in between people, shoving and pushing your way through the North Cafeteria, some good news. The funds for the expansion of the cafeteria have been set aside by Victoria and the much needed addition of seating space will be happening soon. Director of Planning Alan Smith is just in the process of deciding whether the new expansion will go east or west, but regardless, the size will be from 3000 - 5000 square feet, with an estimated additional seating capacity of 250-300 bodies. Of course, this isn't going to happen over night, but the new addition should be ready within a year. Board Barricades Cafe Talking of the North Cafeteria, it will be closed at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday the 15th to accommodate a College Board Meeting. To satisfy your growlies, however, the South Cafe is being kept open after its usual closing hour of 3:30, until 9:30 pm. ‘VIPs launch new field On Saturday the 12th at 2:00 pm_ the Blues soccer team kicked off their 1981 season, but with a big difference. They now have a field to play on. Student Society Running on skeleton Exec After being away for a few months, many of us may have forgotten who exactly is on the Student Society executive. Well | did. In office are President Cindy Shore, Vice President Internal James Roberts and Vice President External Sophia Hanafi, while Katherine Ludgate is working as Office Manager.
