Rennie holds art showing Bob Rennie, mathematician extraordinaire and artist is continuing to gain recognition in the art world for his watercolours. Among recent developments: Seaspan International included one of his works in their corporate collection of marine art, the national magazine "The Mariner" featured one of his paintings on the cover of their April issue, and two of his paintings have been accepted for the annual show of the Canadian Society of Marine Artists. In fact, if you would like to see some of his work you have at least five options open to you: 1) Go to Robson Square where he has work on show at the FCA-UNICEF show in the Media Centre from Oct. 29 to November 7. 2) Go to the Marine Artists show starting November 5 at the Maritime Museum. 3) He is also holding a show at his home on Friday and Saturday November 8 and 9 and anyone who is interested is welcome to attend. The address is 2165 Lawson Ave, West Van. and the times are Friday from 7 to 9:30 pm and Saturday from 1 to 5 pm. 4) Rennie is represented by the Grosvenor Gallery on Hornby Street and the Creekhouse Gallery on Granville Island. 5) And, finally, you can always walk up to the Natural Sciences area where one of his paintings hangs.
