Portfolio ‘95 is an exhibition by 17
graduating students of Capilano
College’s Graphic Design and
Illustration program. Close to 100
exciting examples of graphic design
and illustration will be on view at the
Sinclair Centre May 12 through 21.
The Centre is located at 757 West
Hastings Street.

New Parking
Limitations on
Purcell

y now, most people who drive to

Capilano College have noticed the
new parking regulations on Purcell Way.
But for those who may not be aware,
parking on Purcell Way is now limited to
residents only.

Parking studies by the District of North
Vancouver showed that almost all the
parking spaces on Purcell were being
used by students. Residents of the 291
apartments or townhouses adjacent to
Purcell had long expressed concerns
about parking availability. When the
College initiated paid parking in the fall
of 1994, the problems worsened.

Residents now have the opportunity to
purchase one parking decal per
household for 32 legal parking spaces.
The situation will be reviewed in one
year. O
