And despite all that, he's not a stuffed
shirt.

Formal announcements do not express the
extent to which the people who work here
will miss him, not just for administrative
abilities, but because of his unflagging
good spirits, his genuine interest in the
individuals who make up this organization,
and his great sense of humour.

For many of us, this seems like the end of
an era at Cap; and yet we must sincerely
congratulate our soon-to-be-erstwhi le
Principal on his new appointment, and wish
him the best of luck in the future.

Meanwhile, Paul Gallagher remains until
the end of April, and the Board has
decided not to proceed immediately on the
search for his replacement.

Stage Band. If you play trumpet or
trombone, contact Mike Reveley at local
454, The Stage Band practices Monday

Portfolio workshop

"Everything you wanted to know about Art
Portfolio Presentation'' is the self-
explanatory title of a workshop to be held
Saturday, February 23 from 9:30 am to 4:30
pm. The registration fee is $10—for more
information call local 390.

Student Union news

Upcoming Thursday night socials in the -
East wing of the North Cafe are: Feb. 13,
Marketing Club; Feb. 21- Outdoors Club;
Feb. 26, Student Union with featured
entertainer Tim Brecht. This week's movies
are Moonraker and American Werewolf in
London, on Feb. 12 and 13 respectively at
6 pm.

Poster Policy Policed

The Student Union Is enforcing the campus
poster policy, which for all of you who
are unfamiliar with it, is as follows:

* All ads must be date stamped at the Info
Centre

* Material should be placed on bulletin
board with appropriate subject title

* No staples. Thumb tacks only.

* Don't tack material on hallway walls.

* Remove ads when outdated.

* Discriminatory material not allowed.
