Musical communication only exists on a purely emotional level. I use the technique of collage and assemblage of heterogeneous forms with a programmatic character. The fragmented nature of these events underlines their character of work in progress: a sort of tale without beginning and ending, a permeable space declaring its non-obstruction to the diverse voices and soundscapes. Fragments of forms where the form of material is at the same time material of form, movement, direction, lines and points where bodies sing within the silence, in the resounding space of its inner music and unveil the secret of a sound alchemy re-uniting physical and mechanical beyond the will of expression. Emotionality is immanent, Working with sound gives me a potentially limitless space which belongs wholly neither to the sound nor to the imagination but it is dependent on both; a space where both may lose something - a place for things just to be and become as they are, ... panels, mirrors, forms ... Expression is definitely linked to the instant, . . . bounded activities (composition of a module) in an unbounded process, opposed to any teleological or assertive approach. A potential infinite interaction in perceiving and sensing gives no specific condition for combining the elements . of this work. An open modular framework lives in its own chronological structure which has itself no condition other than being, offering itself as a gift, here and now - immediate. Instant is unpredictably transcendent. Giorgio Magnanensi - Born and raised in Italy, Giorgio Magnanensi currently lives in Roberts Creek on the Sunshine Coast.
