smoking
No smoking in class rooms, sto
teachers from smoking, md
smokimg allowed only in designated areas of the cafeteria.
These were the sentiments behind the Student Society Executive motion last December which
supported a non-smoking policy,
with smoking only in strictly
limited areas.
The complete lack of ventilation in the portables was cited as
orte of the really serious arguments against smoking in class. I f
smoking were left up to the choice
of the individual classes, the remaining (xior would still inconvenience the next class which
could conceivably consist of nonsmt)kcrs.
