Taking the plunge for a good cause nets funds Another section in this “better late than never" photo issue shows the doings at the fundraising carnival held April 16. Among the many sacrificial faculty members who courageously volunteered for dunk tank duty was Leslie Baker (right) of Office Administration. A large crowd of Office Admin types turned out to give her a soaking, including fellow faculty member Lynn Jest (below). As you can see, they were successful, though at least one person resorted to walkingup and hitting the target with their fist. Legal Assistant student Karen Wishneski was the beneficiary of the event, which raised $1700 towards her medical rehabilitation costs through the dunk tank, BBQ put on by Beaver Foods, pub night, raffles and other activities. Wishneski is recovering at the G.F. Strong Rehabilitation Centre in Vancouver.
