Art Gallery
puts on two
special shows
The Vancouver Art Gallery
is putting on two multi-media
events this week in conjunc­
tion with Johnny Neon's Chro­
matic Steps which are on
exhibition there this month.
The Steps, designed as a
non-intellectual p h y s i c a 1
"instant music" experience
f o r the participator and
"instant theatre" for the spec­
tator, lend themselves to the
creative
mu 1 ti -m e di a
extensions conceived by two
local artist co-ordinators, Al
Neil and Helen Goodwin.
Al Neil and his company,
which includes Gregg Simpson
and special guest star Seamus
Finn, will perform "39 Won­
derful Years in Show Busi­
ness," tonight at 8 and Helen
Goodwin's group "The Co"
will present their performance
Thursday night.
