Tzo'kam, a word and expression from the Lil'wat (Stl'atl ' mx) which means "chickadee" and
·'visitors are co ming,· evolved out of a family 's desire to learn and share a part of culture that
was not alwa ys free to express. The lan guage and songs stand as a testament of defiance hy the
elders to a system that tried to erase their culture.Tzo'kam currently is made up of three
