NOW Orchestra Workshops

Fall 2008

For over 17 years, the New Orchestra Workshop Society and the Western Front has presented an
1mnuai workshop series aimed at educating musicians at ali levels of ability in the varied

techniques of improvised music. Each week, a different facilitator will present his or her own
approaches to t.1rismusic. PJtists from arou..'ldthe world bring their O\\'Il unique perspectives to
the spontaneous creation of music. The facilitators are recognized performing musicians, but in
addition they may be from other disciplines such as dance, film, vis~al arts of the spoken word.
