Members of the Capilano College Staff Career Development Committee have been invited to speak at the 21st National Consultation on Career Development (NATCON). Current committee chair, David DeMuynck, and former chairs, Lynne Hamilton and Carol McQuarrie, submitted a proposal this past summer on using creative arts in staff career development. NATCON, Canada's largest conference addressing career development and employment-related issues, will be held in Ottawa in January 1995...A Hovden from the College’s Media Resources Department received PE second prize in radio promotion from the Newspaper Association of America for writing and producing a radio advertising campaign. That’s the Name of the News was co-written with David Jenneson for MetroValley Newspaper Group. Kiff Holland, illustration and design instructor at the College, is having a Resources Beverley Reid and Peter Kellington.
