Deggans expand courses in France Paul and Babette Deggan are once again offering their popular painting in France workshop this summer, but they have also expanded their offerings to include a course on French cuisine, and one on photography. All of these courses will be taking place at the CentreEstival des Arts de Montaigut-le-Blanc, Paul and Babette's studio in a picturesque medieval hill village in the heart of the Auvergne. The village of Montaigut-le-Blanc is dominated by the ruins of its 12th century castle and overlooks valleys rich in vineyards and orchards—the perfect spot for a summer painting class. The workshops are CONTINUED ... Provincial exhibit comes to Cap The CASP program for native students is pleased to announce that they will be sponsoring the first in a series of B.C. Provincial Museum travelling exhibits. "Petroglyphs and Pictographs" will be set up in the lobby area of the second floor of H building from Monday, February 17 to Friday, March 21. Petroglyphs and pictographs are forms of rock are which can be found in many parts of B.C. and are the subject of extensive research. Happenings in Sechelt The Forestry Conference held in Sechelt on January 23 was a considerable success according to Sechelt Coordinator April Struthers. Over 100 people attended and April was particularly pleased that they represented a good cross-section of the community from small businessmen, contractors and local politicians, to loggers, tree planters, and people in the firewood sales business.
