For the birds — and the Squamish campus his centrepiece, called Tweet Dreams, was donated by Elliott Insurance as part of a recent auction at the annual meeting and president’s banquet of the Squamish and Howe Sound Chamber of Commerce. The proceeds of the auction benefit the Chamber’s endowment fund for students from the region to attend Capilano College’s Squamish campus. This year, 24 centrepieces were donated by local businesses and more than $2,700 raised. This is the third year of the auction for endowment program.
