Not the Sports news This is not an article about the Blues basketball team that won the Totem Conference Championship and went to the National Finals in Montreal. Had we received the information so that we could write the story, we would be lauding the commendable efforts of that basketball team who finally defeated their arch rival (VCC) and went to a Canadian championship, however to date no one has sent. us the news, hence this unarticle. (Unarticles are like unstrikes.) Instead, the topic of this story is "Send your news to Information Services.'' Blow your own horn. Send us information, news, letters, articles, classified ads and even photographs, and hey presto, you'll be in print. The College's Reception desk has a message for everyone in the College: They would very much appreciate being advised of sx Everything that is happening on campus. If you are having special noon-hour presentations, if you have invited high school students on campus, if you are holding Saturday classes, if you are expecting guest lecturers, please advise the Reception desk ahead of time so that they can direct inquiries to the right place. Remember, everyone goes to the Information Desk first for directions and it is, to say the least, awkward if the Information Desk hasn't got the information. And, while we're on the subject, you can send those same announcements to the Information Services department, A118. We are in almost exactly the same boat. Sheree Wall hears that question a lot at the main Registration desk, but was more interested to get what you might call the inverse of it from the people who are building the road—United Contractors. They called up to ask when classes end, so that they can start paving after the traffic drops off. Now you know.
