More than 30 submissions were received and reviewed by a selection committee to name the College-wide open house, which will be held at the North Vancouver campus on October 17 and 18. It was a difficult process for the judges to come up with a winner from so many excellent entries. Eventually, two of the top three submissions were amalgamated to create the winning slogan: LOOK AT US NOW! Capilano College Open House *97 Naturally Inspiring Winners of a $75 gift certificate at North Vancouver restaurant Corsi Trattoria are: Shelley Kean, community relations advisor in the College Relations Department, and Retail Marketing instructor, Marilyn Taylor. Marilyn also won the position of internal liaison coordinator for the open house event. Promotions consultant Robin Wilson was selected as external project manager. Robin was the former chair of the Capilano College Board and a longtime Board member, having first been appointed in December 1987.
