The outdated prison getup is in aid of the Canadian Cancer Society who sent a paddy wagon to pick up our president, Doug Jardine, and Medical Office Assistant instructors Jean Clark and Lynn Jest in aid of fundraising. Lynn and Jean were accused of too much paper shuffling and assigning too much homework. They were let out on bail, $282 for Lynn and $350 for Jean. Their students donated $50 to have them picked up. Doug raised a total of $100 for the cause. His bail, set at $1500 was raised to $2000 because he bribed the judge to get out. "They said I wasn't treating the court with respect," says Doug, who was a little shy about admitting the charges against him, but eventually divulged that it was “something about parking in too many places at once."
