They were the first half of an Ecology exchange which will see 15 Cap students going to Montreal at the end of September. Funded by the Secretary of State, this program costs each student a lordly $20 for a week of unbeatable field trips. The Montreal students spent a couple of days in Manning Park, visited Osoyoos. and then hit such local attractions as Mount Seymour, the Rifle Bird Sanctuary, Stanley Park, Light- house Park and the college. Practically the entire Biology department turned out to play host to the visitors, taking them on a Harbour cruise and up to the Salmon House . before packing them off back east. Our people are now looking forward to what should be an equally enjoyable stay in the East, which will include a trip to Mount Washington in New Hampshire, and doubtless a great deal of return hospitality from John Abbott.
