Students seek jobs abroad Four hopeful candidates, Renate Carius, Carole Davelti, Walter Loos and Catherine Clark are off for interviews with the Pacific Northwest International Intercultural Education Consortium in Seattle in hopes of finding jobs in Zurich, Munich and Brussels. This international program offers a variety of positions in such areas as supermarkets, department stores, restaurants, hotels and agriculture, giving students a unique opportunity to learn the language and culture of other peoples around the globe through a summer work/study experience. The students are remunerated for their work and accommodation is arranged. Cap has been a member of the Pacific Northwest International Intercultural Consortium since 1980. Any student with the necessary language skills, whether s/he be from Business Management or Biology, is welcome to apply. Civilization in new time slot The 'Civilization'' series with Sir Kenneth Clark which is being shown in B135 has had a time change. The series will now air from noon to 1:00 every Monday. Please, asks Hilary Clark, inform your classes. Library doesn’t take a break Mid-term break is almost here, but it isn't yet time for students to despair. They can go to the Media Centre (B building) with their research problems and questions over the mid-term break. The Media Centre will be open Thursday Feb. 10 and Friday Feb. 11 as well as_ their usual weekend times of 1-5 pm, to offer support and suggestions or just a quiet place to study.
