Those with special needs may contact the bookstore, local 270. {GALE K de A ‘ \ “= * Anthropologists! ei age &i oo ae EN A ETE a ec By GARY LARSON’ ~ Ss OLYMPICS GRAD GETS OLYMPIC GOLD Members of the Outdoor Recreation Dept. were watching the Los Angeles Olympics with particularly keen interest, as one of the top competitors was 1982 Outdoor Recreation graduate Alwyn Morris. Their enthusiasm was justified. Morris and his partner Hugh Fisher of Burnaby won the gold medal in pairs canoeing, 1,000 meters and the bronze medal in the 500 meters. Our congratulations to both. Another accompanies medalist Meanwhile, former Cap College Music student, Donna Forward, is the pianist for Vancouver's Olympic gold medal sinning rhythmic gymnast, Lori Fung. Which leads the Music department to ponder: "Who knows where our training will take you?! In Donna Forward's case she travelled to meets all over Europe this year, as well as to the L.A. Olympics. More congrats to all.
