B3 During the Capilano College Singers’ visit to Powell River this summer to perform at the International Choral Kathaumixw, the Singers became friends with the Latvian Choir, Zvani (The Bells). Zvani has invited the Capilano College Singers to tour Latvia next summer “What an experience that would be,” says the Singers’ director Lars Kaario. Fitness: Get into Individual Sports or a Comprehensive Package schedule at the Sportspler control desk. A comprehensive fitness package is now available to College employees and their partners. The On Location health and fitness package offers members access to the Sportsplex fitness facilities and aerobic fitness classes as well as access to all the North Vancouver Recreation Centre’s (N.V.R.C.) facilities and fitness classes. The N.V.R.C.’s facilities include pools, ice arenas, weight rooms, and squash and racquetball courts. In addition, members will be offered continuous access to a fitness consultant, a compli- mentary fitness test, and the opportunity to attend monthly lunch hour work- shops focusing on current health and fitness topics. Registration at the Sportsplex has already begun. The fee for a three month package membership is $57.47. One year is $196.49. Payment may be made through payroll deduction.
